YouTube Phenom

I don't know when exactly it started (maybe 4-6 months ago) but all of a sudden everyone begain sending me links to videos on YouTube. It was as if my close group of corresepondents suddenly reached a tipping point and YouTube became a cultural cornerstone for all their audio-visual needs. Did this all start with the "star wars kid"? Most of the crap that I'm reffered to on YouTube is in some way or form a "funny video" that could trace it's roots back to that viral, low cost, low quality, form of entertaiment...

first thoughts....

Wow - that was easy... and just like that I have a blog. sweeet. Hmm, what to say... As for why my URL contains the "zzzmikedogzzz" bit that goes back to my early days on the web when I used AOL (mid 90's) and found it impossible to create a new account with a screen name that I actually liked. In my frustration I typed something intended as gibberish and "zzzmikedogzzz" was born.
