back to the blog: Boston sports

Well from looking at my last post its been almost a year since I've posted anything here! Its been way too long an absence and I'm gonna try to get back to doing regular posts... Anyway, the big story is, what a great year was to be a Boston sports fans. The Pats ran the table with a perfect regular season and went to the Super Bowl, the Celtics Big 3 won a championship and the Sox won the ALDS while Pedroia won a Gold Glove and the AL MVP award. Near the end of the regular season the Sox traded Manny Ramirez to the LA Dodgers which was sad because he was my favorite Sox player (now its a tie between Youkalis and Pedroia) and in the first game of the NFL season Tom Brady suffered a season ending injury but both incidents highlighted the heart these Boston sports team have as they continued to fight and persevere. (Still waiting to see how this plays out for the Pats as we are 6-4 at week 12 with still a possibility of contending for a wild card playoff spot.) And, even though the season has just begun, the Celtics are off to a hot start going 10-2 and looking just as good, if not better, than last year. As always this is a "to be continued" story but so far so good.
